GTM25

My Nuvi 265T came with the (newish) GTM25 - just wondered if anyone had compared this to the GTM21 and found it better/worse/the same?

Also, the GTM25 has a 2.5mm jack so you can plug in a better antennae. Just wondered - where could I buy (UK) such an antennae and would it work even if I just laid it across the bottom of the windshield, as I don't want to have to rig something up on the outside of my vehicle.

The whole point of using an external antenna is so that it can be mounted externally. You may as well use the supplied one if you are going to drape it across the dash?

I have a 265t and have to say that the availability of traffic info in the Edinburgh area is very good. Never had to to use the supplied external antenna. Sometimes, however, the nuvi shows that there's a delay and there's not one.
