The other day I drove in to Nottingham city centre to deliver a parcel, my first venture there for about a year.

Suddenly Nottingham has sprouted specs cameras everywhere. They have been on the outer ring road for some time, but now appear at lots of other places. Be warned! I found a selection (about 6) on the A611 (Hucknall Road) and the A60 (Mansfield Road) but I am sure that there are others.

There are also a flurry of new specs cameras in this (Notts) county, just in time for Christmas. ----Nice!

The ones on the A60 are becoming active soon there was an item on local radio here about it.

The ones on the A611 don't seem to be specs I think they are just for traffic monitoring as I'd of lost my licence by now if they were!! Very Happy

Specs and ANPR cams look a bit similar, Confused but SPECS are usually painted yellow and the gantry usually has the bat symbol on it. Scroll down the submissions page for photos of both types to aid identification. Very Happy
