Still putting off paying for my yearly map updates (will do it but don't want to waste money doing it early).
Can you use the latest map guarantee more than once in the 30 day period? I.e. I've already updated my 940 once, but if a new map comes out before the 30 days is up, can I use it again?
If so, I don't have to pay for the yearly subscription until the thirty days expire.
I presume the 30 days starts from the first time you switched on/connected your TomTom? Seems to be the only date they can know about... |

No. According to the LMG small print, you can CHECK for a new map as many times as you like within the thirty days, but you can only DOWNLOAD once.
Also, the date you first connect to Home is used by the automated LMG process, but if it goes wrong or doesn't work, when you contact TomTom to get it sorted out, they will ask for a scan of your TILL RECEIPT and will use that date. |
