How do you enter Lat and Long in the "Find a Location" Box.

I used to be able to do it, but today it seems not to accept Longitudes West of Greenwich.

51.901428 / -2.151889 doesn't work, but 51.901428 / 2.151889 is fine (but in the North Sea).

51.901428 -2.151889 also doesn't work.

Any ideas?

It seems at the moment there is a problem with this. The verifiers and MaFt are investigating the problem. I assume that you are using Internet explorer, if you have Firefox it works OK. Firefox is a free download and is also a lot faster than IE

Yep, I was using IE - Somehow I had convinced myself that I needed to.

Works fine good old Netscape too.

Thanks

any value with a negative doesn't work with ie... nothing has changed so we can only assume it's google changing their code yet again!!

With IE "N51.901428, E2.151889" works but "N51.901428, W2.151889" doesn't. I only became aware yesterday that N/S, E/W could be entered when searching google maps. Is this new and if so could this have caused the problem?

Also today I am getting an error on every forum page with IE and I am missing the advert at the bottom of the page. Is this related?

But your first is over the sea and your second is over the land. Check it out. for me, all those that I have tested over the sea, regardless of negative values (North sea, Irish sea, Atlantic, English channel etc) are ok, those over land do not work, but just sit there 'Searching'. Perhaps someone else can confirm (or otherwise) this.
