|
|
Hello everyone, and hopefully someone can help!
For some strange reason, after a few months of using the Tom Tom 520 with the Traffic lead plugged into the bottom, it just isn;t working anymore!
Usually when I turn on the unit, there's a message that pops up that says the lead RDS lead is connected, but now I'm getting nothing.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

I had that problem once - discovered I simply wasn't pushing the thing far enough into the hole! _________________ Dennis

- The less said about that the better I think!
However, it certainly won't go in any further so I don't think thats the problem!

Have you tried resetting the device, power it up then connect the RDS receiver and see what it does? - the reset switch needs a paperclip or pin and is accessed from the underside of the device - Mike |

My tmc-rds cable on my go 520 just stopped working one day. Tried it on another tt unit and didn't work there either. Contacted tt support, had it replaced as defective within a week of the initial call.
Hope this helps.

My TMC receiver stopped working last week. I phoned TomTom on Friday and within one hour they sent me an email requesting my full address. On Tuesday of this week an envelope arrived from TomTom containing a box and packaging to return the faulty receiver, post paid, which I did on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday I had two emails from tomTom, the first to say they were testing the returned receiver, and the second to confirm that a replacement was being sent to me. Today, new receiver arrived. Well done TomTom! |
