Root directory???

I need to put something in the root directory and don't know where it is, can someone please help????

I have a tomtom one but don't know what vertion.

Are you able to connect the TomTom to your PC and see it as a drive letter with your hard disks, USB sticks etc?

If so, the "root directory" is the one you get when you double-click the icon. You should just have the drive letter in the title bar (eg E:\).

In other words, it's the "base level" of the drive, not in ANY folder.
