Hi Nick, I do use Quo but I am not too sure what you mean by "Gazzetter" if you explain the feature/ function you are trying to get working then I might be able to assist - Mike

Hi what I mean is the ability to find a place on the map input a name of a villiage, town ect and for the place to be displayed, you can do this both on memory map and anquet maps and it also say in the featues about Quo maps it has a gazzetta, hope this clears up what I mean and hope you can help thanking you for your time

Hi Nick,
From page 20 of the .pdf manual it seems you use f3. However, you have to buy the "PRO" version to get more than one search item. If you're lucky, one item might be enough, but it failed with my large area of London, instead picking a hamlet in Somerset.
Similarly, I can't find how to install Quo on my PPC, any ideas?
Also, I've just received an email from mapyx promising the whole GB 50k mapping for £55.55 in the subject line, but the body of the email is blank! Seems they're using some obscure character set?

Dock your PDA and let Active Sync connect it to the PC, then press Ctl + E this pops up the Export box, follow the onscreen instructions, press the button top right to install the application to the PDA then tranfer the maps you need. What PDA are you trying to use? and don't forget it needs Active Sync 4,5 or newer to work.

The email works fine for me although the offer is not quite what it seems.
You have to buy QUO Pro GB at £99.95 and get a subscription to Trail Magazine free. Thus saving £44.90. _________________ Darren Griffin
