My back up of my tomtom rider seems to have disappeared (firmware version v6.581) Is there any way I can get my ttrider back to this version? Im having various problems never encountered since I have updated to firmware v7.901, i really would appreciate anyone who can help me get my rider back to v6.581

Thanks

Not thick at all. The job is done when installation is complete.

Once downloaded to your PC then run it does it's thing. When you see the 'Installation Complete' message it has finished.

okay I have run the clearflash and tested my tt rider 2 to see if I can now make and receive calls...........ahhhhh no it still doesnt work, searching the net it seems it is a problem with the new firmware and its not only me that has this problem

I so wish I had my back up of when it all worked flawlessly!!!

Is there anyone who can help me in getting an earlier firmware version please/

Cheers

Bingo! A bit of detective work and I think I might have found it...

Click me

There's no .toc (table of contents) file for Home to work with, so you'll need to use something like WinRAR to extract the files from the .cab archive and copy the resulting files onto the Rider 2 manually.

No guarantees (I've no way to test it) but it extracts OK to the right files. Hope it works!

....and back it up and KEEP it this time! Wink
