|
|
3 weeks ago purchased a new TT ONE v4 for my wife.
Using HOME to update the unit I was offered various updates so updated all offered apart from Traffic.
Then tried the Latest Map Guarantee, but did NOT accept the map offered.
The map on the ONE is 715, offered 725 via LMG, but looking on the Map page 815 is offered for £39
Contacted TT via Telephone and they got me to remove HOME and re-install from their web site, but still the same result. They opened a message on My TT etc, and I gave them all the info they asked for. After 7 days no contact from them used My TT to update the message, no reply, now 14 days and updated the message again and still no reply.
LMG now about to run out. How do I get this resolved when they will not reply.
Only purchased the ONE because of the LMG so it would be up-to-date.
I feel totally let down by them. |

Call them again; you must have been provided a reference number. _________________ David |

You will not be offered a v8 map by the LMG unless or until you are running v8 software.
If I remember correctly the new ONE range was shipped with v7 installed. You have to use Home to update software as far as you can in v7 and then update software again to get to v8.
THEN the LMG should offer you v8 maps.
Of course, TomTom customer support should *know* that...... |

With my ONE v4 connected to TT HOME Add Maps - It offers 815 for download for £39.95
The software Application on my ONE v4 is 8.010 if that means anything. |

Hopefully normal service is now restored.....
Cor, I hope no-one read what I posted just now before I edited it... Even more rubbish!
If you're already running v8 software then pure and simple, you should be offered v8 maps. If Home won't do it, you'll have to battle it out with TomTom "support".
