i just transferred to a new company and they will be providing a Motorola Q9H - so I will be replacing the Tilt (since they will now pay for my wireless plan!)

Only certain Q9H units have the GPS built in, and to use it they require a registry hack in order to use it AFAIK. Sadly my Q9H doesn't have the hardware installed (I even tried the reg edit just incase I was being told in correctly) so it would have to work with an external GPS device.

Off topic I know, but I would be most interested to hear what you think of the Q9H as you are moving from what is a very capable PDA based phone - Mike
