One XL - wont switch on under its own power!

Having problems with my ONE XL - when connected to the cars power lead it switches on every time, on its own power - never!! only way to start it is to remove SD card, switch on, then inset the card. Any suggestions! anyone had a similar problem (unit works OK when started).

This has happened before, and on different devices.

Have you changed/upgraded anything recently?

Are you using a different SD Card?

Many thanks for the reply and link - looks like others have also had problems - no updates etc of any kind. Looks like I may have to put-up with the problem!!! Unless anyone else has any suggestions?
