Ipaq car mount from halfords

Hi guys i have just created a in car mount from a modern Bicycle reflector bracket , not sure if it was meant for front or back , but you can buy the reflector packs for bikes pretty cheaply and on a sunday if your existing mount lets go when the shops are shut

i have had 2 suction bendy mounts snap lately and was getting fed up with them , my fault realy , i like to fiddle , and the more ya move the things the weaker they get , so be warned

so i took my ipaq 3630 clip from the broken arm of the bendy mount and cut down the back bit that sticks out , to about half way , then i drilled a hole though and counter sunk for a nut and bolt fit

a dob of super glue and the nut and bolt fitted to the short end of the bike reflector bracket and thats that bit sorted , it hinges up and down so allows for adjustment from outside reflections

the only ugly bit is where to fix to in the car , we all struggle with that , so i unfortunately screwed mine to the flat bit in front of the display in my Vauxhall Astra Estate , but because the braket is minimal it dosent hide any of the display even when the ipaq is fitted to the braket

hope this helps someone who has been struggling to find a bracket cheaply and easily , like me
