I found on the Tomtom ones (and to the certain extent the PGPSones) is that people confuse different types of cameras.

FOr example the trafficmaster / traffic flow cameras are navy blue and look just like the yellow specs cameras. So some people are marking them as speed cameras.

If you spot any that are incorrectly recorded or should not be here at all such as TrafficMaster then can I ask that you report them if you haven't already done so?

If you assign a QuickMenu button to 'Mark location of map error' you will then have an on-screen button that records a location with one press.

You can then refer to this at a later date and submit the correction via our web-site.

It's easy to complain about an error but it doesn't take much extra effort to note and submit a correction. If we all do this even just once we'll remove the occasional error Smile

All I can say is better safe than sorry, I learnt the hard way and became complacent, I drive thru Bourne End nr Berkhamstead 3 or 4 time a week and never once saw a mobile camera after being alerted, then one day I get "warning mobile speed camera ahead 30 mile an hour" did I slow down "NO" then there she was pretty white van with red markings, the only thing missing was a sign saying smile send me £60 and we'll send you 3 points for your license. that was June 2007 and Ive never seen it since but I still slow down even at 5am in the morning.

I agree better safe than sorry.

There is a mobile camera listed at a location about 400 yards from where I live, and I travel past that spot at all hours during the week.

I had never seen a mobile camera unit positioned there, and only knew of its existence having subscribed to the camera database a year ago.

That was I had not seen it until Monday afternoon, when I came back home, and there was the nice white van, sniper slot open ready with the electronic cash register. As it was just before 3pm, they were no doubt eagerly awaiting the school run.
