garmin nuvi 200 questions..

hi there,..

is there a way to change the nuvi 200 voice to a male voice / add voices on?.

is there a way to set / alert me once i go over a certain speed limit like my roadangel did?.

There will be some voices installed on your unit already. Not knowing the 200 specifically all I can say that with my 660 you change the voices from Settings (The Spanner) then Locale. I would expect at least one male and one female voice to be on the unit.

If this doesn't reveal anything...

Run WebUpdater (it's on the GARMIN site if you don't have a copy yet.) Plug your nuvi in, take a FULL BACKUP to your PC - yes it takes about 40+ mins - but it is well worth it just in case anything in goes wrong in the future.

Then run WebUpdater and it will check if there are any firmware upgrades for your unit then at the end it will offer you a load of optional downloads (like cursors and voices) see if there is anything there you fancy.
