TTN on HTC Touch HD

Hi All

Does anyone have any insight into how well TTN6 or 7 will cope in the WVGA (800x480) environment of the HTC Touch HD?

TomTom 6 and 7 both work very well on HTC Touch/Polaris/O2 XDA Orbit 2.
The system can cope well with it and having just returned from Majorca can confirm that 7 with Europe Map works well there too. Bit slow to log on to satellites but once on very steady and fast.

Thanks for the reply but my concern isn't so much with the functioning of the underlying software so much as its display on the Touch HD's high resolution 5:3 (800x480) Widescreen VGA (the Touch is a 4:3 (600x400) VGA display). I'm not expecting anyone to have had the opportunity to test TTN in a widescreen environment as only the iPod and yet to be released Touch HD have them thus far.

I guess that if TTN does work in widescreen it will most likely be stretchyvision but I was just wondering whether it will actually work or whether it'll just generate graphics issues.

Posts on other forums have suggested that programs written solely with 4:3 in mind may not display well in high res. 5:3 (if at all).

My Touch HD is already on pre-order so I guess I'll be Guinea Pig!
