tomtom one version 1 stuck on startup screen

Hi all,
My tt one is frozen on the startup screen. i tried all the methods described on tt site to rectumfy it... still stuck.
Still waiting for tt support to reply.
Any ideas anybody?
Anyone got a working backup of tt one version 1 (4N00.001) i could try (my original backup has been lost... i have kids ... nuff said.. )

All help/suggestions/divine intervention greatly appreciated

Have you tried pushing a bent paper clip into the reset hole, and holdind the reset button in for about 30 seconds, and if you connect the TomTom to the computer, can you see it as an external drive?
