2 hr battery x960

hi everyone peeps!

just had a x960 michelin bought for a pressy.
in the instructions, it states that once charged the sat nav should last for about 2 hrs driving!!!!...........what then?????
what if your journey takes several hours, what do you do???

AH! can you run on using the battery charging lead attached?

help!!!
