Nextar(TM) Navigation System Features Both U.S. and Mexico Maps

Bilingual System ‘Habla Espanol’ as well as English, Aiding Drivers and Travelers in Both Countries

La Verne, CA – August 27, 2008 – Nextar, a designer and marketer of bold and new consumer electronic products with mass appeal, has gotten behind the wheel in helping drivers navigate in both the U.S. and Mexico. Its new M3-MX(TM) navigation system provides not only detailed 2D and 3D maps of both countries, but also offers all menus and voice prompts in English and Spanish. Having maps of both countries in one 2GB SD card saves drivers the hassle of using two separate mapping systems in two separate languages.

“The Nextar M3-MX navigation system is an excellent travel partner for both American and Mexican drivers,” remarked Eddy Zheng, Nextar founder. “Full color maps of both the U.S. and Mexico along with bilingual vocal prompts and menus make traveling in either country – whether a citizen or visitor – more convenient, safer and less stressful.”

The system features a generous 3.5” TFT touch-screen display that provides users with large, clear, colorful images. A special automatic night mode feature provides additional screen lighting for even easier-on-the-eye viewing. Voice-guided directions with turn-by-turn voice prompts are given over the built-in stereo speaker.

The new Nextar navigation system shows 1.6-million points of interest, including hotels, shopping centers, gas stations, and restaurants. If the driver misses a turn, the system will automatically recalculate a revised route. The unit may also be used for walkers, as it provides pedestrian routes of up to six miles that are not limited by vehicle constraints. Digital map data is supplied by NAVTEQ(R), the preeminent provider of comprehensive digital map information for automotive navigation systems.

Other features of the Nextar M3-MX includes up to 300 address storage capability for favorite destinations, SD card slot for additional memory, over-the-speed limit warning and 2D and 3D map-viewing modes. It also has the capability to play MP3 files and to display JPEG images. Power is supplied by a lightweight, built-in, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery.

Provided accessories include: AC/DC adapter, suction cup, USB cable, protection pouch, SD card and a stylus/touch pen.

Pricing and Availability
The Nextar M3-MX navigation system is available at Walmart.com and other e-tailers across the U.S. as well as on line at www.nextar.com. It has a MSRP of $199.99. It comes with a manufacturer’s one-year limited warranty.
