TomTom default speeds and routing

Any recommended settings that don't constantly prefer highways? I've messed around a little and have pretty accurate ETAs however the routing is a little "odd" sometimes. Preferably settings that also don't mess up my ETAs. thanks

Try these

Freeway............................60..........................60
International road...............45..........................45
Major road.........................45..........................45
Secondary road................40..........................40
Connecting road............... 33..........................35
Important local road...........37..........................35
Local road.........................30..........................30
Destination road................25..........................20

They were originally recommended by TomTom for the new routing algorithm in 2.34 (which is now called 3.0)

Where does the option for 2 speed settings come in the menu or am I missing the point?

yes, you are missing the point 8) These are two separate sets of settings that you can try, they have different routing results. Don't take them too seriously - eventually it is up to your personal favourites and driving pattern how these should be weighted.
