Look at it from the machine's point of view...
You DON'T want to tell the TomTom where you are going, but then you want it to IGNORE any cameras that are merely nearby, and only alert you to the ones on the section of road you MIGHT decide to drive onto.

Until TomTom develop telepathy, I don't see how you think this can be achieved!
