'Hide POI' still shows POI's AND speeds up screen refresh

Now that's odd 8O : when i have POI's enabled, (left softkey, 5 Change preferences, 4 Show POI), while navigating the POI's i have selected in 'Maintain POI' are shown on & off route, but the screen is updated once a second while driving.

When i choose 4 Hide POI, POI's i selected in Maintain POI are still shown but screen updating is smooth without delay (most noticable on roundabouts....). POI's are still shown and proximity alert even works better because when 'Show POI' is selected, the proximity icon in the upper left corner doesn't always keep up with getting closer to the POI. When 'Hide POI' is selected, it does.

Anyone experince the same thing?

BTW, the POI's i'm talking about are speedcamera's, proximity alert enabled (Warn when near POI)
