Hey all. I'm thinking of buying the new TomTom3 wired GPS kit to go with a Yakumo PDA Delta. I'm only using the PDA for the sat nav so don't want to pay extra for features that I wont use. The Yakumo uses MS PC2002. Will this be compatible with TomTom3? The Yakumo is listed as compatible, but I'm not sure if this refers to the new versions running MS PC2003.
Also, will I need/should I buy a memory card for the PDA to store the maps on? The Yakumo has 64Mb SDRAM as standard.
Many thanks for your help,

Yes, TomTom 3 works with PocketPC 2002. and yes, an additional storage card is highly recommended - as big as you can afford (256 MB is a good start) _________________ Lutz

That's great, thanks for the reply! 256meg seems a large size, does it have to be this or would 128meg be ok? I'm not sure how much memory TomTom wants/needs.
Thanks again,

Hi PJ,
Where are you from? I’m going to have to guess the UK!
I think the UK maps for TTNav3.xx are about 100Mb and the major routes of Europe, which are included with each country map is 80Mb. Plus Dynamite’s fantastic Post Code add-on for TTNav (another 15Mb) and you’ll get an idea of the sized SD card you’ll need.

256Meg it is then, thanks for the info :D ! Yes, I'm from England- in London at the moment. Are the major routes of Europe included with England disc good? Am considering driving down to Monte Carlo this Easter. Do you think TomTom could handle that?
Cheers,
