Adding MP3's to Garmin Nuvi 660FM

Could anyone please tell me if I can add my own MP3s to the MP3 folder in the Garmin software rather than the SD card. If this is possible does anyone know how much space is in the MP3 folder.

You can add MP3's to the folder on the unit, how many depends on how much space is left overall.

I find it better to put my MP3's on the SD card and leave the unit plenty of free space to work with otherwise it can get a bit slow, as with any computer.
