|
|
After an update on my Rider V2 to 7.540 my phone stopped working. I can hear the tomtom direction in my bluetooth headset so I know the bluetooth connection is working. I can also access my phone book and sync with my phone and initiate a call from the tomtom. But there is no sound and the receiving person can not hear me.
The phone is a Nokia 6230 and worked fine before the update.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Here is an update.
My tomtom seems to work OK with a normal bluetooth ear unit but it is not working with my Autocom unit. I have inserted the old software back into my tomtom and it works fine.
So, it seems there is a problem with the Autocom unit and the new tomtom rider software.
Has anyone else tried this?
I will drop a message to tomtom and autocom and update you if I get any response.

Still no resolve from Tomtom.
It works on Nokia mobiles running Windows mobile software but not the normal phone software.
Just need to change my phone I guess. |

actually, after buying a new Nokia I find out that it does not work with Nokia Mobiles running Windows Mobile.
So, I installed a previousversion and now my speed cams dont work.
Not happy! |

Had a very diferent problem with phone but the fix is the same but long winded.
1 Delete connection from tt
2 reset tt
3 Hard reset with pin.
4 delete bt connection on phone
5 remove battery from phone, put it back in and switch your phone on.
your TT will now take a week to get all your settings back to how you liked it but this actually fixes most problems with BT connections.
Most BT problems are caused by corrupted pairing and only clearing both will fix this. |

A follow up to my reply.
Was told to do this from TomTom and yes this did work for about a week!
Have spent the last 8 weeks at least once a week resetting everything.(about an hour to get get everything the way I like it)
Cannot find the post to thank them but just do the check disk thingy
Stupid device was crashing on lost or broken files. |
