Voice Recognition Gone on TTGO520

Right, ive been reading on here and a few US based forums about the navcore 8 update messing up peoples voice recognition. Mine doesnt work. I have tried, reinstalling version 8, no joy. The, the '1' line of text in the 'support_asr.dat' file gets the icons working and not greyed out, but does not allow any voice input.

Just wondering if there is anybody out there with a UK bought tt go 520 running navcore 8.010 and UK & IE 7.20 maps with a working voice recognition?

I am at a loss now as to how to get this running. :S

Have you tried a reset???

Mine worked fine with Navcore 8 and the V7 maps and now works ok on V8 maps to.

Tried the reset button now, and did no good. just comes up with 'input not recognised' when you try to navigate by voice directions :S

i lost voice recognition on updating to v8. i reset all user data AND did a reset and that solved it
