Hello,
Recently upgraded to a, may I Say, wonderful 920t. It works like a dream, anyway on a few posts on several forums I have read mentions of installing 930t maps onto your 920t.
Is this simply a case of going to TOMTOM home and telling it you have a 930t and then all will work with the V8 software being installed?
Will the lane change and all other 930t features work on the 920t?
Is the 930t, the same inside, but comes with the latest Software?
So many quetions!!!!

This HAS worked, but TomTom have now closed the loophole. You can still buy the map, but it will not install onto the "wrong" model.

Yes, It will all work, and has been shown to do so, but you will now have to be patient until TomTom release a version of the v8 maps that THEY will allow to work on the x20 (and other) models.
It's likely that they will start to roll them out in late August (I've no insider knowledge, but that's what people are thinking based on TomTom's previous behaviour with this sort of upgrade)
P.S. You're not the only one, but there seem to be an awful lot of 'TomTom specific' questions in this bit of the forum at the moment.
Did you know there is a whole section for TomTom stuff HERE?
