UK map quicker then Europe?

Most of the time I'm travelling around UK but sometimes go into europe, is having UK map any quicker loading time routing etc or does it make no difference if use western & central europe all the time.

I think it depends on more than just the map itself. Displaying POIs, having (the dreaded) mapshares downloaded, IQ Routes, Traffic. I guess the Navcore version also has some bearing. (My ancient GO700 with old Navcore and Western and Central Europe loads as quickly as my GO550 with only GB & ROI and certainly plans a route so much faster you wonder what's the value of "progress").

On a single device, you're only talking a few seconds difference, so if you're deciding between GB&ROI and Europe, you might as well go with Europe and suffer a few seconds delay (use it to fasten your seatbelt or beat the kids into silence!).
