I have a c510t. When i have compared the route distance to my destination it seems to underestimate the distance when compared with the numerous routefinders on the net and also with the reading on my speedo. For example the distance from my house to my parents is approx 120 miles. The sat nav tells me it's 93miles.

Anybody have any clues or similar experience.

It tends to display the straight-line distance to places, until you hit "Go" and it calculates an actual route. Is that what you're seeing?

Or maybe your parents have moved without telling you Very Happy

You are spot on with your advice. When i pressed 'GO' after inputting my parents address it told me that the distance to the destination was roughly in line with all the route finders. thanks for your answer.
