Thanks Alix - Thats what I already did, I'm sorry, I thought you meant you had found a way to get the update to work for us Bluetoothers out here! :-)
never mind I'm sure it will all be sorted out in the end - at least things are working well for now
Cheers

Cheers for that Redcap - had already seen it however, it seems that I and others were right all along and had (more by luck than judgement and the fact that I am a PC specialist) done exactly the right thing to fix the problem.
TomTom's website now says that they will be posting a HP2210 specific update soon - shall wait and see and will report to the forums then
Cheers

Grrr... it was all going so well.
Updated my Nav3 to 3.01 (on a 2210) before seeing the posts regarding the lock-ups. Sure enough, it locked about 3 times in 3 miles.
I reinstalled Nav 3 as per the TT instructions (although I did need to do a remove programs twice on the Nav ~ GPS before it disappeared), and it is better. However, it did lock up once on a 6 mile journey :-(
So I'm not really sure if I'm managed to uninstall it correctly or whether the original Nav 3 was prone to locking on a 2210. I've just got my system so I have no previous data to say which is correct.
I'm off to the USA soon so I'm hoping Nav USA works ok and hopefully the 2210 issue will be solved by time I return.
