You may or may not have noticed that in some early v7 map releases, specifically map versions prior to v715, the new HelpMe option is sorely lacking in many areas, particularly the completeness of the POI files for Doctors, Dentists, Police Stations etc

TomTom are aware of this issue and have released updated POIs to fill in the gaps. The files can be downloaded here.

I have a TT710 My first aid guides & other guides are empty. So I have downloaded the 2.29mb file from TT.as per above.
They say copy this "HELPME" folder to the root directory of the device.[Do not copy it into existing folder]
Where is the root directory? I am useing version 7.162? I was updated by TT with the Lifebouy symbel a few months past. But it is minus these files. Many Thanks.

It's the furthest up you can go on a drive. If your device is drive F: then F: is the root drive and the files have to go into there and NOT into a folder underneath, such as f:\helpme or f:\apps\helpme...

The files in the red ring above are in the Root Directory.
