s90i SMS/TTS

I have recently got a s90i (Australian) and I have a query regarding bluetooth SMS and TTS.

I have a SE K750i mobile and all connects up fine, however when I receive an SMS it pops up on the screen but is not read out.

Now I was under the impresion that the TTS function should read out the message to me. (Similar to the TomTom 720). Is this correct? and if so is there a setting that needs to be set to enable this.

No - it doesn't read Text Messages out

Indeed, prior to release, Navman promoted this feature, but it was soon removed from their literature and websites

Cannot see why this is not an enabled option, perhaps in 2nd Edition SmartST 2008 coming very soon???
