Tomtom or Co pilot for TYTN 2?

I have just upgraded from an N73 to a tytn, and had previously used TT6 on the N73, I need to replace it on the TYTN, my previous maps won't work ( I suspect they may have been "back-up" copies !) I need Western Europe (UK + mainly France) I have been happy with TT in the past, the fact that the maps are 18 months old, does not bother me, as on the rare occasion it can't find a new address, I can still get pretty close, if the road layout has changed, its usually pretty obvious.

TT6 Maps are a £40 download, whereas co-pilot seems to be about £100, but is £40 for 2 years traffic as opposed to £30 for 1 year with TT.

What should I go for ? is either better, or is it just down to money ?!
