Hi all,

I have the above system and want to load some speed camera data. Does anybody know which download is most appropriate?

It needs to be able to accept "Third Party POIs". If you can find reference to that in your manual and tell us what it says, it will save us detective work on your behalf.

What I've found out so far is that this is a combined radio/satnav exclusive to Halfords.
It has:
# SD card 512MB preloaded maps & software - Good, SD card based devices are usually easier to update and add to.

# TeleAtlas map data - Good, that's a standard supplier.

# OS Windows CE 4.2 platform and Navigation software from iGO - Good, the iGo "My Way" hardware with iGo software is on our compatibility list HERE

# Point Of Interest - but no further details as to whether they are just built-in or can accept extras.


With a combination of the details in your manual and the instructions link on the compatibility chart I mentioned above for iGo, hopefully you should be on your way. Come back with any more info you find or any more questions.

i have tried putting the pocketgps_uk_sc.txt file into the speedcam folder and that didnt work , the file named UnitedKingdom7PPC.fbl would that be the version 7 ? iGO . if so then there must be a 99% chance you can get the cams database to work !! . hurry up cos i have to renew my subscription in 24days as i was daft enough to have a N400i fitted what a fool ...

i did a bit more looking and found the ripspeed site has this killer line..

This unit is not pre-loaded with safety camera data. Software and data upgrade for safety camera alerts are not available.

so the halfords guy kinda misled me when he said the speedcams must be updatable as there is a folder with speedcams in but he didnt have a clue how or where updates were from.

funny that site specs list things that are not even in the N400i manual..

Hmm... I have just bought one too, cant understand why the dabase cant be added?

Can anyone throw a definitive light on the matter?
