go 920 which maps will i get?

Hi

I am about to go to halfords to buy a tomtom go 920t but was wondering about maps will i get some upto date ones as the ones on my old 910 are a bit old now infact two roundabouts i use are not there !!

The maps on the new 920T will be more up to date than those on your 910, but maps will NEVER be up to date, depending on what you regard as up to date!! It takes quite a long time for road changes to make it through the "map surveyor to TomTom devices" route, so those new roundabouts may still not be on them. One small comfort is that TomTom offer their "Latest Map Guarantee", whereby if you buy a new device and a newer map is available for it inside 30 days from purchase, they will let you have the newer map free.

When you get the device, come back here soon for advice - the latest maps (released in the last week or so) are version 720. Although TomTom have the Latest Map Guarantee feature, it is notorious for not working properly, so you may need help from us on how to go about getting it to work for you!
