urgent help! - attempted to update 360 and now dead

I connected the Nuvi 360 to the PC via USB and used the web updater to download the firmwear and some other stuff (pointers, TMC update etc) and all seemed well. Didn't realise that I needed to disconnet the thing. This was all yesterday. Just now I disconnected the 360 from the USB ready to pack etc for a 5 hour drive tomorrow and it popped up that I could update the fireware from 2 to 4 something (I think). Went through with the progress bar completting pretty quickly. Then the Garmin boot up screen came on but it was split so that it wrapped around the screen wrong.

I left it like this for 5 mins to see if it would correct and when it didn't I switched the unit off to reboot - like you do when it behaves this way on the road.

Now it will not do anything - I can't power it on again, pressing the reset swicth on the back does nothing. To all intents I have a dead nachine.

I've plugged it back into the PC (USB) but it still will not power up.

HELP!!!! Have I killed it, do I need to buy a new one ?

Your help will be much appreciated as we need to leave too early tomorrow to get a new one before we set out!
