Coming this summer, new Zero Tolerance speed cameras are being trialled on Trunk Roads and other A Roads from Summer 2008.

The new German designed and manufactured cameras look different to the normal GATSO's so I have included a photo so that you are familiar with them .

Please make sure YOU DO NOT SPEED when approaching one of these devices.

Please take this warning seriously as you will not get another chance.

Good job they are german made and not AMERICAN made, else they'd be hitting the cars driving WITHIN the speed limit by mistake instead.

(Blue on blue I think they call it. What is most worrying about the yanks, is that they actually have a PHRASE to describe Friendly Fire incidents, they are clearly that common. How frightening).

And to our US friends, and my mate Simon over their, this is just a piece of fun, in the same spirit as the excellent original post copied by Darren, from another member.

Nice one Darren - all credit to the OP behind it too.

Very Happy

Excellent Photo.

But many a truth said in jest?
