TomTom 1 v2 Home Help!

Hi

I'vw had a TomTom One V2 for about a year and it works fine, but the other day I thought I would try and update the map.

I went to the tomtom website and downloaded the 'Home' Program. installed that fine then connected my tt and turned it on. Pc detected it and it appears in the 'my computer' window as another drive that I can browse and see all the files and folders in, but the TT Home program cant see it!

When I click on the update button it takes me to a screen telling me to connect my device!

I've searched on the TT website and it said i should download and copy some 'Home Images" to the root drive on the TT1, but still no luck.

Anyone know How I can get my 'Home' Program to see my device or can I download the updated software manualy?

Give TomTom Support a ring in the morning and explain that:

1/ The device will connect to the PC,
2/ Latest version of Home is installed but fails to see the device,
3/ Windows Explorer can see the device.

They should then e-mail you a file to put on the device which then allows Home to see the TomTom One, the number to ring is 0845 161 0009 - Mike

An alternative way is to download Home v1 (from the same place as you get v2 - http://www.tomtom.com/plus/service.php?ID=17, choose the right hand option for Rider and Navigator 6)

Update the machines software as far as you can go with that, and then re-connect to Home v2.
