I am currently looking around the vast amount of sat navs available on the market today, but would like any feedback on:
Which 1 is the best 1 to get?
All the speil about speed cameras etc as regards some saying 6 months/free trial etc etc, as this part does my head in.
Any help in choosing 1 will be greatly appreciated |

it depends what you're after and what budget you have!
if you tell us which of the following you would want / need / not care about then we can give you some pointers:
bluetooth (phone handsfree)
uk/ireland maps
europe maps
usa maps
mp3 player
photo viewer
ability to add custom poi's / pgpsw speed cams
text to speech (tells you road name (turn right on james street) as opposed to just 'turn right')
voice recognition (ie you speak the destination rather than type it)
traffic data
widescreen / 'normal' screen

ability to add custom poi's / pgpsw speed cams would like this option, but not necessary
just need a basic 1 in respect, as long as it gets me from A to B, without reading a map or written directions
about £100 |

| Have a read of This it will do camera warnings and custom POI's, it will get you from A to B and is easy to use, it is a basic model with no bells or whistles - Mike |

Seems a good deal as its priced on the sellers own site as £173 - I've just taken delivery of a 520 Music Edition + leather case for £137 from an EBay Power Seller |

| I would like the link for a TT 720 for £150 on Amazon. I've searched their site and it seems to be much more expensive. The cheapest is Dixons at £180. |

You will have to search around the special offers are often only for a single day or weekend, the last silly low prices for the 720 were around the Easter weekend, since then the prices have gone up a little.
Bear in mind the 720 retailed at £330 only nine months ago so even £180 is good value - Mike |
