I am trying to uninstall the above in order to install 7.2.2.1 because of problems with xulrunner
I have downloaded the 7.2.2.1 from oldboys website and done as the instruction from another thread (can't remember where)
I have copied the contents of the extracted files to the folders and the loose files to the roote but 7.481 will not be moved I have even reset to factory settings and still its there.
Should I be deleting files from 7.481 first ?
any advice would be most welcome _________________ marshall TomTom Go 520 , Western Europe v805.1801 map. app 8.2204- v7KATE 4gb sd card + other cards |

Have you tried a Pin-in-the-Hole Reset? _________________ Richard

Hi all
After much fiddling about and doing as you suggested, and pin in the hole resettes I now have 7.2.1.1 on the tomtom and 7.481 on my sd card, however with the sd card inserted i get to play with 7.481 then remove the sd card and i can play with 7.2.1.1 is their any advantage in this ?
thanks

Only if you want to become a geek like us!
Seriously, I think the only changes from v7.221 (did you mean that?) to v7.481 are unspecified bug fixes and support for the HD Traffic Receiver.
Be interesting to see if you can find any other differences. |

Overspeed warming is improved
RDS-TMC removal of frequency information
RDS-TMC significant alteration to green ball for traffic info received
There are probably more changes but those above spring to mind - Mike |

Oooh ta....
I ACTUALLY meant to say "improvements" rather than "changes"
How is the overspeed warning improved, do you know?
I've heard it has started flashing again (a bit). Is that what you meant? |
