I've just updated my ROM to 1.10 too.

Noticed a few cosmetic changes.

I installed ScaryBears check notifications and did a number of soft resets, and the good news is the ROM update also seems to fix the notification build up bug in the earlier versions.

Hi Guy's
I'm getting a little confused with the ROM versions.
My 2210 arrived a couple of days ago and if I use Asset Viewer it tells me that the ROM is revision 1.00.10 with a ROM date of 05/22/03.
Is this the latest version and the same as 1.10 released on 15 March 04 ??

Regards
Paul

I have had my 2210 just over a month and it has the same ROM version as you state. May 22nd 2003. Not the latest.

Do a soft reset (press the little button at back)

In the bottom right hand corner on boot up, it tells you the ROM version.

Previous versions are 1.00 and 1.01

Latest version is 1.10

Hi,

I've applied the patch. Ipaq seems a little quicker. Apparently it includes a fix for clearing the 'notifications tasks' which can build up. So far so good.

One thing I noticed this morning and don't know if it has any coincidence with the upgrade is that my battery totally drained overnight and automatically wiped everything on my PDA. Gutted! I've since charged it up and restored everything and everything seems ok now. Bit strange no the less.

Cheers

Did the upgrade yesterday and it was absolutely painless. The only thing that worried me was that I had the PDA in the USB cradle, connected to the charger, and the charging light went out and the screen illumination vanished while my PC was loading the updated ROM. But when it was finished the lights came on again!
Obviously I had to reinstall all my software (TomTom, CoPilot, Checkpoint) but that only took about 20 minutes and everything works fine. I had hoped that the upgrade might fix my CoPilot problem (only TTS speech works, not wave file) but no such luck.
