Your best bet is TomTom C/S, By the sounds of it you've had the password activated via home. They will be able to help with proof of purchase, as you are aware there is no way people here can prove your ownership, i'm sure your genuin for safety reasons Tomtom will be your best port of call. You could try going into home and try deactivating the password, but you will need the password that has been entered!
To assist you TT number is 08451610009 |

You have to deactivate the password on the Device itself.
The problem being you have to know the password before the Device will run and allow you into Change Preferences. _________________ Richard
