Just been reading the latest Auto Express and there is a short article about how a driver with a TT 720 was able to assist a police helicopter home in on a stolen vehicle as it was being driven.

I didn't think TT's had a trackable transmitter ?

I read that and it doesn't mention the model although it is accompanied by a pic of an x20? I suspect if it is true it must have been a TomTom WORK device.

I would be interested in a tracking device that would show me where the car is at any time but I suspect the subs are quite hefty.

Maybe a little clunky but ....

If you have the map options set to show coordinates, browse map, then tap the top right to locate your current position, you could read out the coordinates. A helicopter would probably get there fairly quickly and you can also tap the top right again to refresh and give them an update. Enough of these and they'd see you soon enough?

The 720 will also show your present road name and I think they carry an A-Z or similar?

Well, I did say "clunky". Wink
