trouble with i3

Ok i have an i3 with a 2gb card in it it is loaded with europe and gb. Now i have just tried to update it with some more poi's. When iput the microsd into my card reader it says the card is not formatted. The i3 works perfectly well so the info on the card isnt corrupt. What program do i need to be able to read whats on the card?
As i havn't updated anything on this unit in over a year im a bit rusty Laughing Out Loud

if you have the i3 connected to the pc then poi loader will detect it for adding pois. there is no need to go to the micro-sd card directly.

as to why it's saying it's not formatted i have no idea... but don't let windows do it!!

Should have said as well i was trying to see what files there were on the card as i wanted to update the poi's and remembered that if i load new ones on it overwrites the ones on there
