Having paid £400 for a Navman 510 in September 2004, plus £100 for updated maps shortly afterwards, I now see that they no longer supply new maps for this model or many others... iCN 320 / 310 / 300
iCN 550 / 530 / 520 / 510
iCN 600 series
PiN 570 / 300 / 100 have no new map support.

Had I bought a Tomtom Go originally, I would still be able to buy updated maps.

Navman are putting up 2 fingers to their customers and I for one have bailed out. (not to mention that their current models support only 12000 custon POI!!!)

I am afraid I have to agree. There were a large number of posts on this topic earlier. Keeping the issue in the forefront of peoples minds is a Good thing for everyone (Except Mio / Navman)

they do seem to have a habit of 'forgetting' about their older devices...

shame really, they do have some decent units!

I inherited a Navman iCN520 and was appalled at the cost of up-dating the maps to the 2006 (!) version. On e-Bay I discovered a neat CD which has converted my Navman to TomTom software with 2007 mapping and full post-code search facility (Navman only gave a 5 digit search). Now it gets me around quite well. Very Happy

If this isn't a legitimate non-pirated copy of TomTom then we don't want to hear any more!

And they don't appear to care. Sad
