Go 720 Day Night mode

Sorry if im missing something silly here, but my 720 doesnt seem to switch from day to night mode, can i do this? Or is it a manual change? seems a bit odd if thats the case.

Change Preferences - >> Brightness Preferences then ensure that "switch tlo night view when dark" is selected
