European maps for an Aussie user - 720

Hello all,

I have an Australian-spec 720 which has a smaller amount of internal memory than those available to you Europeans. I am visiting Italy in June. My questions:

1. Does the Italy map contain more information than the Western Europe map?

2. I will have to use an SD card for the Italian (or European) map. What brands/capacities are known to work?

3. How does the 720 behave when multiple maps are fitted? Is there anything I need to do to configure it?

1. Can't answer.

2. I've tried all sorts of brands, like Sandisk, Kingston, Lexar and all have worked. Anything upto 4Gb SDHC is fully supported.

3. No, nothing special at all. If the maps are properly installed, the device will find them and use them when they are selected.
