Hello,

I have been using tt6 with ipaq 5450 for some time with wired gps, I recently purchased a 32 channel blue next gps bluetooth. Have paired devices ok but the connection only last about 2 minutes. This is whilst vewing the connection in the bluetooth on the Ipaq and whilst veiwing the connection within tt6 at the gps activiity. TT 6 is set up as other nmea reciever at 115200 on gps port 8.

Could you advise if the settings are correct or are there any additional settings for the Ipaq gps / reciever or additional software that is required.

Thanks

mgfer

I had this and it turned out the battery on the BT GPS device wasn't charging. So, I charged it up from home and the problem went away

Hello Alan,

Thanks for the response, could you advise that you are using a 5450, I am concerned that the bluetooth cct within my 5450 is faulty. I have been able to successfully use the gps reciever on my old ipaq 3970.

Whilst veiwing the connection in bluetooth manager on the 5450 the signal strengh is rocksteady on just right, but on the 3970 it is pulsing from just right to too strong, this is making me think the 5450 is faulty.

If you have a 5450 what do you see on yours.

Thanks,

mgter
