Is there a way of moving some menu items to page 1, "Clear Route" for example. I now about the Tom Tom menu builder and the SkuX online one. But these don't have some of the later menu items, and I don't want to lose these. Just move thing around. Any help would be appreciated |

If you mean MapShare and HelpMe then you cannot add these via custom menu, in fact as soon as you install a custom menu these icons will disappear, all the other icons can be moved/ sorted etc using custom menu though, and to be honest once you have read the Help me part it is of small loss when the icon disappears, most of the actual functionality is still available from the POI menu. MapShare is a little different, but I don't use it anymore as I don't trust it - great idea with poor implementation - Mike |

Yes a custom Menu is one created by using the online menu builders or simply create the required text using note pad on the PC, there are full lists of menu commands available on the forum to do the same thing using a basic text edit application.
Once a Custom Menu is installed you can forget MapShare and HelpMe, although re-naming the tomtom.mnu file (which is the custom menu itself and lives in the SdkRegistry folder on the device) to something like tomtom.old or simply deleting the tomtom.mnu file will bring back the original menu should you need it - Mike |
