New UK Topos for Colorado 400T?

Does anybody have any idea when the new 2008 Topos are likely to come out for the new Colorado?

I'm not aware there are any new topo maps in the pipeline.

In any event - unless they very significantly improve the footpath coverage then it wouldn't be worth doing - the contours won't have changed! (Well not a lot over a few years).

If you are thinking of getting a Colorado for use in the UK I would strongly advise getting the C300 and taking a look at the Scottish Mountaineering Clubs web site and using their contour maps. Very nice work. Take a look at www.smc.org.uk for more details.

If you are keen you can find shareware on the web (start with This One ) that allows you to add simple map features (like paths etc). I did this for a recent walk around Buttermere and it wasn't too daunting. There are several very useful guides on how to do this to be found.
