I have just downloaded about 20 custom POI's to my Navman S70 and it seems to be running a lot slower, is this usual ??? also I have a 1GB SD card installed, how do I download the custom POI's to this, so far I have managed to download them to the device itself. Sorry for my ignorance, but I am new to Sat Navs and this forum.

It depends on the device. For most of the popular systems there is no issue but Navman's S-Series are the exception. They struggle with custom POIs that have large numbers of locations, 12,000+. Do your custom POIs have this many locations?

It could be the sd card but I believe there is an issue with any amount of poi's slowing down the unit.

Have you updated the device to the latest firmware as I think it was addressed in the update?
